About our Writer’s Club: In 2026, Elaine’s Literary Salon founder, bestselling thriller novelist Jeffrey James Higgins, and PR director Hope Katz Gibbs of InkandescentPR, launched Elaine’s Writers Club. Packed with workshops, seminars, and services to help writers turn their book dreams into reality, in March, a new Write-In opportunity went live.

“We are now doing monthly write-ins to help authors reach their word count,” says Jeff, who writes every day at least 90 minutes. He half-jokes,  “If I miss a day, you don’t want to be around me.”

You are invited: Join fellow writers on the first Wednesday of every month, from 6:00 to 8:30 PM, in Elaine’s beautiful Literary Salon. Find camaraderie with other writers and make progress on your Work in Progress. Elaine’s will have two timed write-ins, during which everyone can focus on their projects, with a short break in between. Chat with other writers and finish that novel, poem, or short story.

Agenda:

• 6:00-6:30 PM: Social Time
• 6:30-7:15 PM: 45-Minute Timed Write-In
• 7:15-7:30 PM: 15-Minute break
• 7:30-8:15 PM: 45-Minute Timed Write-In
• 8:15-8:30 PM: Social Time at the bar

Food and fun: Elaine’s will offer writers a Happy Hour discount on beer and wine. Other food and beverages available for purchase.
